The vineyard

Situated on the Cugullonet Nou estate in Sant Climent (Maó) in the south-east of the island. The property lies on calcareous terrain, whose soils are littered with the stones hewn from the underlying rock. Two hectares of vines are grown on espaliers and include the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay.

The bodega

Cellers Solano is a family-run bodega that has commercialized its small and carefully controlled production of wines since 2008. They produce between 5,000 and 6,000 bottles a year that are mainly sold on the local market or, to a lesser extent, in Catalonia.
